Director Jason Reitman (Up In The Air, Juno, Thank You For Smoking) is back with a new novel adaptation. Labor Day is a story that’s told through many years from the perspective of Henry Wheeler (Gattlin Griffith, Dylan Minnette, Toby Maguire). Henry and his mother Adele (Kate Winslet) find themselves held hostage by Frank (Josh Brolin), an escaped convict. However, things seem to change and it appears as if something is growing between the three people. Reitman has always been great with adapting novels into films, so I trust that this film will be just as interesting as his others!
This film will be in limited release on December 25, 2013 and is Rated PG-13 for thematic material, brief violence and sexuality.
