As happy as I am for Jennifer Lawrence and Jared Leto, I thought that their wins for Supporting Actress and Actor were pretty typical, as the voters love them both. Personally, I believe that Lupita Nyong’O (12 Years A Slave) and Bradley Cooper (American Hustle) deserved the win, as they completely lost themselves in their roles and lent so much to their respective films. I love U2 and the song Ordinary Love, but how does Let It Go from Frozen not win?! Also, Alex Ebert won for his score for All Is Lost and I’m quite upset about that (mostly because Cliff Martinez‘s score for Only God Forgives wasn’t nominated). Preferably, I would have gone with Gravity‘s score. Lastly, I’m upset that American Hustle won, because it really doesn’t deserve to win. It’s fine, but it’s no The Wolf of Wall Street.
Without further ado, here are the nominees and winners of the 2014 Golden Globes!
